Robot And Dabangg short listed for IIFA 2011

The IIFA award function will held on June-25 at Toronto. India is making very good movies since half of decade. Most of the movies are made to inspire people. These movies got nominations for several awards. In this list movie "Dabangg" and "Robot" are nominees of IIFA technical award. We hope that these movies surely get award, because they are best in the list Rajnikanth starter movie "Robot" is also in list of best art director.

The director of this movie is Sabu Cyril. Sabu Cyril had won this award at IIFA last year also. We hope he will surely get this award this year as well. Awards for Special Effects has also won by Movie "Robot" by Indian Artists and Make-up by Banu. This movie gives us good knowledge of future. This movie show us how machines will perform in future. Movie "Robot" is science fiction movie. This movie shows us how artificial intelligence change our life. It is a very dramatic or action movie. The Salman Khan starter movie "Dabangg" has won choreography award for item song 'Munni Badnaam', this song was choreographed by Farah Khan.

This movie also won the award for Best sound recording. The film also won the award for Best Action (S Vijayan). This movie is a big hit in Bollywood industry. This movie is very much liked by everyone. This movie is a remake of a South Indian movie. The cast in this movie are Sonakshi Sinha and Arbaaz Khan. This movie is very sensitive in drama. There are many action or comedy scenes in this movie. This movie is target on corrupt police, to show how Indian police work in their real life.

The Independent Spirit Awards

The Independent Spirit Awards formerly called as the FINDIE (Friends of Independents Awards), founded in 1984, are awards devoted to directors who are work on their own. Winners were normally honoured with acrylic glass pyramids holding balanced shoestrings demonstrating the worthless budgets of independent movies.

In 1986, the incident was renamed the Independent Spirit Awards. The Independent Spirit Awards are given by Film Independent, an institution dedicated to independent movie and independent filmmakers. In 2007, the ceremony was somewhat changed to Film Independent's Spirit Awards. Since 2006, every individual who bags this award has received a trophy representing a bird sitting at the peak of a pole with the shoestrings from the former design surrounded around the pole.

The awards show was earlier organized inside a exhibition area on the beach in Santa Monica, California, generally on the day before the Academy Awards. Since 1994, the show has been telecasted on the Independent Film Channel. The 2009 awards took place on February 21, 2009. Independent Spirit Awards 2010 were held on March 5, 2010 inside a porch in Los Angeles. The categories under which this award is given away are as follows- Best Film, Best Director, Best First Feature, Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead, Independent Spirit Award for Best Male Lead, Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Female, Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Male, Best Screenplay, Best First Screenplay, Best Foreign Film, Best Documentary Feature, Best Cinematography John Cassavetes Award, Robert Altman Award, Acura Someone to Watch Award, Piaget Producers Award, Truer than Fiction Award and so on.

On the other hand , the Indian screen magazine Filmfare begin the first Filmfare Awards in 1953. These awards were to titled as the Bollywood's version of the Academy Awards. Regular Magazine readers put forward their votes and the awards are demonstrated at a sensational, star-studded event. Alike Oscars, these awards are commonly charged under favoritism towards commercial success relatively than merit. Stardust magazine, Zee TV and others later stepped into the award business. Since the year 1973, the Indian government has organized the National Film Awards, awarded by the government-supported Directorate of Film Festivals. The DFF screens not only Bollywood movies, but flicks from all the other regional film fraternity and independent or art movies.
