Arjun Rampal will not attend IIFA Awards

Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal will not attend International Indian Film Academy (IIFA), at Sri Lanka from 3 June to 5 June 2010. Arjun Rampal is busy with his promotion of movie Raajneeti. Arjun said that he would not able to attend IIFA Award function because of movie Raajneeti, at that time he will be in Hong Kong.

In the movie, Raajneeti,. Arjun is playing a role of politician; he has prepared this role by observing young, educated politician like young politician of India, Rahul Gandhi and Sachin Pilot.

For this role Arjun has observed many young politician, there style, body language every thing, like Sachin Pilot, Milind Deora, Rahul Gandhi as well as the young Rajiv Gandhi and the young Sanjay Gandhi.

The film, slated to release June 4, also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Ajay Devgn, Naseeruddin Shah, Manoj Bajpai and Nana Patekar.

Sri lanka is ready for IIFA

Sri Lanka is all set for IIFA Awards function, Economic Development Deputy Minister Lakshaman Yapa Abeywardena is hosting the 11th Internatioanl Indian Film Festival Award Function, it not only for the prestige of the country but it will show Sri Lanka’s development scheme as well.

More than 600 viewers will watch IIFA Award on television. Three hundred foreign media will cover from 110 countries. This will so the positive side of the country, so Sri Lanka has planned that there should not be any knid of problem in such a grand function.



From this not only Colombo will be benefited, but other areas will have benefit from this event. More than 300 India-multi millionaires will take part in the business.

It will be celebrities’ hub from 3rd June to 5 th June, 2010. many celebrities will take part like Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, brand ambassador of IIFA, Amitabh Bachchan.

Sri Lanka is ready for IIFA

This year IIFA Awards will be held in Sri Lanka from June 3 to 5 June. The event would further elevate Sri Lanka in the global tourism map. Director General of Sri Lanka, Dilip Mudadenuiya said that Sri Lanka is getting free publicity and now they have to prove themselves.



This event will help them for the further increase yields. And it will increase the tourism in the country. The IIFA would increase Sri Lanka’s potential as a top conference.

Sri Lanka would also get the opportunity, for the shooting for the Bollywood movies, it will open new market for them. Everything is ready, Sri Lankan Ministry of transport have a special air-conditioned train from airport to the Fort during IIFA Awards.

Shahrukh dance at IIFA 2010

From the reliable sources, Shahrukh Khan will perform at the International Indian Film awards 2010 at Colombo, Sri Lanka. Before this it was a news that Sharukh Khan will not attend IIFA Awards because he had a cold war with the brand


ambassador of IIFA Amitabh Bachchan, but after that organizers has confirmed that Shahrukh Khan is going to perform and fire the stage with his blasting performance.

Besides, SRK and Salman Khan, hot Bipasha Basu, zero size Kareena Kapoor and her beau Saif Ali Khan will also attend the function, Lara Dutta, Bonam Irani and Ritish Deshmukh will host the show.

Bebo to dazzle in Manish's outfit at IIFA 2010

Famous designer Manish Malhotra has designed a dress for Bollywood beautiful and gorgeous actresss Kareena Kapoor for her stage performance at the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards 2010 in the Sri Lanka.


He said that he is doing fashion finale there and designing costume for Kareena Kapoor for her blasting performance.

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has got maximum number of nominations for his super hit movie 3 Idiots, he has received 14 nominations, including best film, best actor, best director and best actress. Manish said that director Rajkumar Hirani deserve all these for his amazing movie.

IIFA will be held in Sri Lanka, in the capital Colombo from 3 June to 5 June. It will be hub of Bollywood stars for three days.

IIFA Habitat for Humanity

The International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) is in Sri Lanka this year, in the weekend there will be many collaboration of events that will be lead the award night. The ceremony is attended by the almost all the Bollywood celebrities.

IIFA has adopted charity and they have selected Habitat for Humanity. From this charity, they have built number home for homeless. There is expectation from the stars, that they will do more work for the homeless and for their improvement.

Habitat for Humanity globally help underprivileged people to build their house. They are focusing main on housing, to provide decent home to the people. It has a simple way also to volunteer if a person is an engineer than they help in architect. Habitat for Humanity is open for everyone.

So, IIFA Awards are the special place to from which people get help. Many stars support this charity, and help the needy people. Stars also get involve in it, get their hands dirty and build house for this noble cause.

Shahrukh and Salman will attend IIFA

This year IIFA Awards are going to see in Colomba, Sri Lanka. There are many celebrities faces will be seen. IIFA awards are from 3 June to 5 June. Bollywood super star Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan are also going to attend the function. Shahrukh is attending IFFA Awards after five year, last he has attended in the year 2005.

Salman Khan's charity match during IIFA

The International India Film Festival (IIFA), will organize charity match between two countries, India and Sri Lanka cricketers. Which will for the help former Tamil Tiger child soldiers. This function will held under the Sri Lankan cricket board, NGO Habitant for Humanity and UNICEF. Bollywood super star Salman Khan is a brand ambassador of it. He said he will help and invest to make home for the Jaffna.


This year IIFA Awards are organizing in Sri Lanka from 3 June to 5 June 2010. And this charity will take palce during those three days international event.

It will help to rehabilitate children who fought in the ranks of Libration Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE). Salman said that he is very happy to be a part of such a special cause.

Ravaan will not be shown in IIFA function

Director Mani Rantam said that his upcoming movie Ravaan, starring by Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will not be screened on 11th India International Film Academy (IIFA). He said as Ravaan shooting is incomplete so there is no use to show promos of movie in IIFA with is in Sri Lanka.

From the sources Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is not invited for IIFA, Mani Ratnam said he don’t have any news about this. This is not my job, who to know who all are coming or not. The film is still not ready, so we have decided not to show in IIFA.

Because of not having good relations with Sri Lanka, Tamil film actor has rejected film events in Sri Lanka, Rajnikanth, Kamal Hassan, Ajith and Surya. Bollywood super star Amitabh Bachchan is a brand ambassador of IIFA, so he will surly attend the ceremony.

IIFA 2010 in Sri Lanka

This year International Indian Film Festival (IIFA) Awards are going to held in Sri Lanka, before this it was organized in different countries. The IIFA Awards are presently every year to encourage and motivate the moral of Bollywood star, people who has worked hard to make movie. It appreciated both the artist and the technical people for there excellent work.


From the year 2000, IIFA Awards are celebrated in various parts of the world. Last year it was organized in United Kingdom and then Malaysia, South Africa, Singapore, Thailand, Dubai.

This year IFA is going to be in Sri Lanka, it will be a hub of celebrities from June 2 to 4 2010. This will bring big business for both the countries. Sri Lanka has been chosen from many other countries like South Africa, Abu Dhabi, Australia and Korea.

Ministry of Tourism said that it will increase the tourist for the country and this is a great opportunity for them to organize such a big event. They will give there hundred percent for this function.

Shahrukh and Saif’s friendship

Before going to host 55 Idea Filmfare Awards 2009, with Saif Ali Khan, King Khan has decided to tweet. Shahrukh

said that my friends said that he could not make fun of himself. And he added that Saif Ali Khan is marvelous and great actor. Sharukh has done couple of movies with Saif Ali and he enjoyed his company.

Sharukh said that, Vidhya Balan looked ravishing, hot Bipasha Basu is awesome, Deepika Padukone and Kartina Kaif are amazing but at the same time Shahrukh missed Kareena Kapoor. He thanked everyone Kiran and Veerdas for the script, backstage girls who helped to fill the stage, famous choreographer Ganesh Hedge for his amazing choreographing. Without them it won’t be possible.

Shahid Kapoor had given tribute to Michael Jackson, on his hit dance numbers. The show was telecasted on March 7 on Sony Entertainment Television.

Dev Anand and Pran has received prestigious award

Bollywood legend Dev Anand has received Phalke Ratan Award on Friday and iconic villain of film industry Pran was honored with Phalke Icon and Legendary Cine Versatile Cine Star Award. It was given on the 141 birth anniversary of Dadasaheb Phalke.


Both the actor are legend of the film industry, Dev Anand said that when ever he close his eyes he collect the memories, which he has given to industry. Pran said that he feels honored to receive this prestigious award, he thanked to industry who love and support him a lot.

Producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra has received Phalke Memorial Commercial Film 2009 award for 3 Idiots and Aamir Khan was awarded the Phalke Memorial Performance award.
