Indian film awards and its sheen

The Indian Film industry is awarded by numerous Production and Television channels in positive reception of their arduous hard work and entertaining the whole world with the huge number of movies produced world wide every year. The IIFA Awards is one such instance, where the Indian film fraternity is awarded on the international level. Indians films still have a long way to reach Oscar Awards. Salaam Bombay, Lagaan and Mother India, were all only one of its kind, avoiding profitable application all in all. Market analyst and critics discussed of a balance, the award or commercial exaltation.

Zee Cine Awards 2011

As reported Zee Cine Awards 2011, are the biggest awards in Bollywood film fraternity. The Marina Bay Sands in Singapore organized the Zee Cine Awards 2011. Zee Cine Award is Bollywood’s only audience’s choice award which has accomplished its twelve years now. This year too the award function was hosted against the dramatic milieu of Asia’s most favored place Marina Bay Sands. This award function is too held on a large scale in Bollywood since years.

Zee Cine Awards was not being held at a big outdoor setting but was organized in indoor in the Sands Grand Ballroom, which was considered to be the biggest one in South East Asia. It is said that the ballroom can hold a facility of 11,000 delegates. The arena as reported was custom and was made from scratch in a manner that guaranteed most favorable contest from each seat. The building of the ballroom is designed by Moshe Safdie and is bigger in scale than anything that has ever been built in Singapore.

The event introduced Akshay Kumar as the horde for the first time along with successful filmmaker Sajid Khan. Bollywood baadshah Shahrukh Khan bagged the award for Best Actor for My Name Is Khan, the most sensational actress Chopra, actor Rampal and many more bollywood celebrities also performed at the show. Dabangg received the Best Film award at the event, while for the Best Actress category Vidya Balan bagged it for her outstanding performance in Ishqiya.

Filmfare Awards

The Filmfare Awards are given once a year by The Times Group to credit both creative and technical brilliance of skilled persons in the Hindi film industry of India. The Filmfare function is one of the oldest and most important movie events given for Hindi flicks in India. The filmfare awards were initially brought into existence in 1954, the same time as the National Film Awards.

The Clares was the inventive name of the award procedure, named after The Times of India critic Clare A Mandy. Ii is reported that in the first awards event, organized on 21 March 1954 at the Metro Theatre of Mumbai, India, merely five awards were offered which were Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, and Best Music Director. In the year 1995 superhit film Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge bagged 10 filmfare awards, in 2005, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s directed Black bagged 11 awards and Madhuri Dixit, Shahrukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai starrer Devdas which was released in 2002 also received 10 filmfare awards. To rejoice the 25th year of the awards the figurine were made in silver and to celebrate the 50th year the effigy were made in gold. As of in the year 2010, there were thirty seven awards. There is a detached category of film-critics awards, that was decided by noted film-critics relatively trendy votes. This twin configure has also produced some hullabaloo amongst the audiences and addressee.

Short history of IIFA Awards

The International Indian Film Academy established the IIFA or the International Indian Film Academy awards late in 2000 to be offered to commendable aptitude in imaginative and technological turfs in Bollywood cinema. These awards are given away every year and their award function is apprehended in diverse countries to emphasize the significance of Bollywood film fraternity worldwide.

The first function was organized in London, at the Millenium Dome and from that time the awards have been presented in South Africa, Thailand, Republic of Singapore, The Netherlands, UAE, Malaysia and Macau respectively. In the meantime lets peep into the history of IIFA. In the year 2002, IIFA was identified as Electrolux Kelvinator IIFA and in 2003 to 2005 IIFA was known with the name of Kelvinator IIFA and Samsung IIFA. The main aim of IIFA awards is to endorse Indian Cinema globally. Asians in international film world and Indians worldwide are all welcomed with open arms here.

IIFA awards portray the main role in expanding its social and economic relations with other nations around the world. The two IIFA categories are Technical Awards and Popular Awards. Indian Cinema has always been a remedy for all pains and sufferings . Entertainment has many forms songs, dance and storytelling. The Indian Cinema has its support in Mumbai and it is mainly known as Bollywood. Other nations are still not familiar with other regional flicks. But special attention is given to held IIFA awards in different countries as a lot of Indian population is in Western countries too. Apsara Awards, Stardust Awards, Filmfare Awards and many others are well known in the Bollywood industry.

Dadasaheb Phalke Academy Awards 2011

Bollywood’s stunning beauty the yesteryears actress Rekha looked just beautiful beyond imagination in ivory tissue saree and golden brocade sleeveless blouse attending the Dadasaheb Phalke Academy Awards 2011 at Bhaidas Hall in Vile Parle, Mumbai recently. Evergreen as always, still considered as one of the most glamorous Indian actress, Rekha was a real treat for everyone present at the award night looking smashing in her striking, old Bollywood styling signature scarlet glower, sophisticated eye makeup, perfect matching jewelry and last but not the least saree. The diva came in at the night, accompanied by her long time secretary Farzana. Rekha’s outfit was gracefully tied over a sleeveless blouse with a modern neckline.Her sparkling trimmings included loaded strappy sandals, sea shell golden purse, statement earrings, nose ring, matching bunch of bangles in both her arms and what not. The veteran actress ‘s tangled hair gushed down the right shoulder. Crimson lipstick, smoky eye makeup, eye lash additions and red nailpolish rounded her babe avtaar. Rekha was seated next to the most honourable Bollywood star Dharmendra during the event and presented the actor with Phalke Ratan, in acknowledgment of his over five decades in Hindi film industry.



Rekha showed her gratitude to the actor by touching his feet after giving him the award and Dharmendra happily blessed her by placing his hand on her head. Rekha was supposed to perform at the event, but couldn’t make it for some reasons.Other than this the Om Shaanti Om fame Deepika Padukone was given away the Dadasaheb Phalke Award for her performance in 7 Khoon Maaf, even though the movie had a great fall. Likewise, for giving outstanding performance in No One Killed Jessica, actress Rani Mukherjee bagged the award. In a way to encourage the new faces in the film industry Dadaphalke award was also given to Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh for their good attempt in Band Baaja Baraat.
