Nandi Awards

Nandi awards were presented for the movies released in the year 2008; Arundhati has won most of all the awards because of her amazing work. Other movies are Gamyam, Neninthe, Nachavule, and Ready. Chief Minister presented the awards to the winners.


At the occasion, Chief Minister K. Rosaiah expressed his concern on growing rate of piracy of films and claimed that serious actions will be taken by the government to stop it.

Best Film: Gamyam

Best Director: Radhakrishna

Best villain: Sonu Sood(Arundhati)

Best comedian: Brahmanandam

Best supporting actor: Naresh(Gamyam)
