Filmfare Awards

The Filmfare Awards are presented by The Times Group to give honor to both artist and technical excellence pf professionals in the Hindi film industry of India. The Filmfare is one of the oldest ceremonies of the India and it is prominent film events given for the Hindi Film in India. The award was introduced in 1954, and were initially referred to as the Clare Awards after the editor of The Times of India. The Filmfare Awards are equivalent of the Oscar.
