Dadasaheb Phalke Award To Dharmendra

Dharmendra is one of the handsome actor in Bollywood industry. He have a unique personality, which is liked by all till now. On Tuesday dated 3-May-2011 Dharmendra was awarded by the most precious award in film industry, he was awarded by Dadasaheb Phalke Award. Dharmendra is very experienced man in this industry, who has been awarded by Phalke Ratna for his contribution to the Hindi film industry spanning five decades.

The award is given away on the anniversary of Dadasaheb Phalke, father of Indian cinema, this award is constituted by Dadasaheb Phalke Academy. On award ceremony Dharmendra told "If you are a good human being, respect would come automatically". This line gives motivation to every human being and it is well said by 75 year old legend Dharmendra. Dharmendra told that he is eager to do movies in future also. For 4 decades, this veteran actor is in this profession. Rekha presented Dadasaheb Phalke award to Dharmendra, he and Rekha are friends for longtime, they did many movies together. Dharmendra did many movies like:"TUM HASEEN MAIN JAWAN ", "SEETA AUR GEETA",

"SHOLAY" which is the super hit movie till now, "DREAM GIRL", "THE BURNING TRAIN", "RAZIA SULTAN", "RAJ TILAK", "HUM KAUN HAI", "JOHNNY GADDAAR". And latest movie was "YAMLA PAGLA DEEWANA" the songs of this movie grap the hearts of the fans. Dharmendra's son Sunny and Bobby were also in this movie. The other award winners were Rani Mukherji for best performance in movie "No One Killed Jessica", Priyanka Chopra for movie "7 Khoon Maaf", Ranveer Singh for movie "Band Baja Baraat" and Sonakshi Sinha for "Dabangg". Arbaaz Khan won award for best director for movie "Dabangg".
