Filmfare Awards won by Rekha

Noted for her versatility as an actress, Rekha was particularly recognised for playing female-oriented characters, such as that of the school-girl in Khubsoorat and the decisive avenger in Khoon Bhari Maang, both of which were hallmark roles. Rekha has won Best Actress Award at Filmfare twice.

Filmfare again went to her at the age of 43 in Supporting Actress Category for Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi in 1997. And in 2003 Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award went to her and she accepted with usual grace and poise.

Rekha has acted in over 180 films in a career that has spanned 40 years. She has reinvented herself numerous times in her career and is known for her ability to sustain her status.
